The strategy for a riser is to let your trailing stop loss decide for you when to get out.
If you follow Guppy's 3 day countback then I guess you're right there's a number of times when ADY would have stopped you out.
If however you follow Weistein's 30 week MA method you would not have got out as you would be waiting for it to breach the 30 WMA which of course it still has not done.
Me, I'm mostly a Weinsteiner so I reckon I'd still be in if I had done the right thing.
