The ASX data on shorts is always delayed a few days but that price action today looked like a "short being stopped out". Hedge Funds or Long short funds have risk limits that they adhere to, today seemed like one broke and they got stopped out. Very aggressive buying in the last hour on large volumes, particularly in the auction........maybe another day or two of it left.......
Nickel price up again at the moment on LME, *LME NICKEL INVENTORY FALLS 636 TONS TO 116,712 TONS
Another reduction in inventories......
Extraordinary move from 90 cents to 1.41.....after 8 months in the doldrums.....great stuff
