    Wow - Haven't seen this kind of a drop for some time now. A little out of the blue in my mind?

    The US interest thing isn't new, and the USD has been rising for months now.

    The China holdings are questionable (as is everything there). You'd think with a troubled sharemarket investors would take haven in gold - to some degree at least?

    Really not sure who's shorting or why
