Indeed, I would have liked the interviewer to ask PC what he thought the likely hood of a takeover was.

I also noted he danced around the fact that JH had become a cornerstone investor and would have a 34% holding in TON and was organising the financing and equipment purchase through it's leasing company and yet has not yet put up it's hand to acquire some or all of the remaining 50% of the offtake that is still up for grabs. However he inferred that JH was looking at further investing in the future in building a processing plant in MOZ to upgrade the materials. One would assume they would need graphite for that would they not....well yes one would but upon further consideration maybe the plant is not targeting Ancuabe Large Flake, maybe it's looking at processing Nicanda Hill and turning it into spherical graphite in-country and feeding the world from there.

JH have the technology and the connections not to mention the $$$$ and it would be a massive cost saving...from PC's responses and skirting around some issues but droping lines that were a little un related to the line of questioning JH might be aiming at the VERY BIG picture. SYR have to send their materials off sure to upgrade in the US so TON would be undercutting them for sure even though they have similar graphitic material from that area (As opposed to Ancuabie's Jumbo size high purity large flake - just had to spell it out for Cappy cause he always seems to get confused thinking all graphite is equal when we all know it is not)

Interesting times ahead...will we see JH become our Nicanda Hill JV partner? Will that deal cost us 50% of Ancuabe's offtake? ... Cheap if it does if it means supplying the worlds transition to EV and energy /Storage on top of the booming fire retardant materials demand forecast to require 2Mt per year in the short term.
