IMO Anwar is not going to come in and reverse a decision that will point blank destroy the Malaysian economy. Malaysia has made it clear that Lynas is welcome and the world knows it. If Anwar were to come in and reverse the decision to welcome Lynas, the highly negative international attention would destroy Malaysia as a business destination. Who would trust anything Malaysia represents, it would be catastrophic and Anwar knows that...

The other card in our hand that an irritated Japan could call in the Samurai bonds and make life generally uncomfortable for Malaysia and it's current leader. Of course any down economy will quickly be blamed on the good Dr. or Anwar if he is in power which politically could prove to be a risky or fatal move...

Anwar is making political noise for his old pals but there are external facts that cannot be ignored. No leader is going to work against his own political future and create massive world scorn or a failed economy as Japan extracts it's revenge... JMHO...
