All I am fairly sure of ( and it does not require obsessive analysis to reach this conclusion ) is that the arrival of one non executive drector in early 2008 has probably had less effect than the small matter of the GFC (notably in Europe), and the continuation of the structural decline of the paper industry.

It is not really about the arrival of one director in 2008 but a complete change in the direction of the company which can be done by the replacement of Boon with Price. If Price replaces Boon the other relative new directors will have to change their up to now approach or also be replaced.

And as Andrew Price said there is no need to wait for the results of the strategic review to take action.
