If i sell my bhp shares at $40 dollars buy them back at $30
then sell them at $40 etc etc
then i am an astute trader and very smart
BUT
if i sell my apg shares at 12c and buy them back at 9.8
and sell them at 12c etc etc i am a market manipulator and stupid

which one makes the biggest % profit

in dec 2008 who cares
only those who didn't buy more at 12c or 9.8
