I find it strange that there was no hint if a leak before the announcement. You would think you see even a small run prior to a bid, not in this case as it has been very tight. Such a bid has major miner all over it. They don't want to over pay for umc. All umc needs now is a helping hand from uncle twiggy to up the ante with a second bid.
