AuCu...that 'deal' would be great if ONLY THEIR HOUSE doubled in this period.

they would be able to buy themselves double the house with no real 'effort' put in (apart from paying the bank very expensive rent in a form of interest)!

as it stands everybody elses houses have gone up by as much as theirs and all they've achieved is only paper profit!

they will still have to hand over ALL the money from their house and borrow WAY MORE that what they would have to before prices skyrocketed in order to 'upgrade' ! ! !

due to their wages NOT following the growth of property prices they are WORSE OFF for their 'profiteering experience' !

you know who is better off ?

the bank is !!! and couple of RE Industry guys ! that who !
