Interesting comment. I wont make any comments on what price or value property will be in the future however up to now this illusionary wealth you speak of seems to be the only way anyone has made any money in australia ever haha :) besides maybe running a business and building up goodwill
Capital growth has been useful for many other reasons than downsizing im sure!
