re: hergerr shocking.perhaps true Not making light in anyway of the barbaric acts referred to however this has been an interesting display of how rage and other emotions can over ride critical thought.

These emotions often dissipate relatively quickly in normal people depending on the out come yet still may linger in the subconscious.

Re the accused

To me this represents a complete break down of all societal limits and basic human instincts that are imprinted on most of us and instead has been replaced with its very worse without limit.
I personally don’t believe perpetrators such as these are capable of rehabilitation and question society’s obligation to sustain them in isolation from civil society.
