I’d agree Trump is far from conservative. Mostly he is utilitarian in that his values and opinions are pretty flex and self indulgent. He also didn’t much mind saying what would appeal to his most likely supporters. I think they were a grab bag of conservatives and opportunists along with disgruntled voters looking for someone to vote for.
