The argument all comes down to what is fair
pay and conditions. I have worked with some
people who are being overpaid at minimum
wage. I have worked in small businesses for
over 20 years and have seen the challenges
they face too.
I don’t know what people in the health or
education sectors get paid and have no
knowledge of the excesses that may or may not
have existed in those industries. I can only
comment on the positions that I have worked in
and in many there was so much waste something
had to give.
Having worked in retail for the last 20 years, I
found the best places to work , in general, were
small family businesses.

"Since the Albo government was elected we are already seeing union rumblings,". .. are you referring to health and education employees? well that certainly makes sense. they are under State awards and have had to work twice as hard for the public and not had a reasonable pay rise in 10 years. - yes, Gillard also contained pay rates.

Gladys Berejiklian offered NSW nurses a 0.3% pay rise in 2020!!!

Not good enough.

Wages and conditions have been suppressed under WorkChoices where most workers have no ability to push for a pay rise under the improper Enterprise Bargaining BS.
