I have sympathy for Israels position and realise we are being told things that suit either side - I have no doubt innocent civilian losses on the Palestinian side are huge, though whether they are even one third of what Hamas controlled bureaucrats say is open to debate

One of the great tragedies of Israels actions (besides the huge loss of innocent lives, and yes there would be many more civilian casualties in Israel if they didn't have such a good defence system against aerial attacks, a fact many in the West who sympathise with Palestine dont realise) is that it will make it much harder to prosecute Russia or even apply other pressures to Russia about all of their war crimes
