    Hi ST,

First up we have to understand that the way today panned out, is and does happen to all stocks, not just GXY, imo it's not part of some T/O.

ST, if you look at this 30min chart you can see as you describe them the actors how they work. First 30minutes is all buying from the good report, inside this you may find the SP being helped by the actors, who knows, who cares really. The average trader cannot support the SP by themselves, they just did all the buying and they need the help of the actors to prop up the SP. On the chart you can clearly see this, this is a perfect example of how to read them. The third bar shows that the actors have withdrawn and the SP has risen only slightly on very low volume, that is the average trader still trying to take it up by themselves, No actors involved. The SP is then manipulated down by the actors to a level where some of them will start buying back off the now panicking trader and the whole process may start again. Remembering this manipulation may continue to occur from different actors working independently on different time frames for a day to a week, who knows, but that is evident on the chart. I work mostly day charts and the last sign of strength was on the 5Feb and also a small amount on 4Mar, 5Feb was made up of the panicking trader selling back to the actors who collectively may have thought it was time again. I understand it is a lot to think of but there is nothing wrong with GXY, this is just the way the merry go round goes around. I don't short stocks and will buy GXY again when the strength returns or should I say when this weakness disappears, sorry about the long post but I think there will be a few more. lol
