You would have to think the market has been looking for a reason to re-enter GRK.

Looking back over the announcement today, it isn't even very important. If we wanted data to confirm the thermal potential, we only had to extrapolate the Blanche1 1900m temperatures (which is indeed what these contractors did). I guess this announcement just looks good for the wider market to see. Who doesn't like the sound of 'enormous potential'?!

The figure is very, very watery - does anyone else agree/disagree? How can they pull up data from 1900m and use it to extrapolate a figure with such accuracy (7.6MWe)? What about temperature/flow rates/reservoir surface area/pressure/etc? They must have estimated these figures. I think they would get the market much more excited, but it is understandable why they would not release these estimates.

All we were given was a rough stab at well capex, but thanks management for breaking a dry spell...

The implications for the upcoming Blanche1 fraccing are neutral, bordering on positive. The fraccing itself (success is virtually guaranteed as demonstrated by the drill core) should not create any surprises, but neither should today's news. Perhaps there is another short term goal for us as holders? Blanche1 fraccing could be the public event to draw more investors in?

Still, despite my anticipation of large gains in the medium term, the story won't change until they address the issue of thermal efficiency and electron production.

If GRK can provide reliable and positive data regarding the cost/MWh for O.D generation, many 'sideline holders' like myself will want a much larger stake (data not available until target depth is intersected, whenever that may be). The largest investors as a whole are likely to be over-cautious until they have some kind of indication of economic viabilty. Risk-pricing is the flavour of the month, and will ensure our market cap does not approach that of, say, PTR, until either a JV is established, or a rig is selected (and favourably financed).

Anyway, despite the fact that I don't understand why it went up so much, I'm glad! Seems silly to give away GRK at the prices it has been going for the past few days.

    Closed above 10c. Optionholders- exhale!

    Cheers
