Today's announcement indicates that MHL appears not to be totally dead yet. That is good, because I am still holding and hoping as are many others.
However, I would not get overly excited about the announcement. It means that a geo is willing to provide its services for cheap options at some time in the future. It does not mean that a worthwile exploration deal has been struck (like CIGs).
Unless there are positive announcements to follow this one, the share price will fall back to the 1.5 cents fairly soon (or even lower).
As I have said before, holding MHL appears to be worthtwhile given the prospectivity of the existing oil/gas/uranium tenements. I have continued concerns about the alignment of the interests of MHL directors/management with the shareholders and would prefer for them to be given a 30% stake in total via higher priced performance options. The dilution would be insignificant relative to the gains existing shareholders could obtain via a successful MHL
