stocks, the technology in what SYS are doing is not new. It is new to Australia.

Look up www.sasol.com these South African guys have been getting this coal and using the Fischer Trops method to convert to fuels and byproducts for decades. The "technological" part is in who's mechanics are used for the gasifier of which Siemens owns one technology.

Further to Sasol, read through the Syngas website and you will see that they are actually using many people who were originally with Sasol from the design process (through their own consultant) and the Legal/Sales guy getting the offtake agreemnts sought out. Add to the mix the Chairman who has some links back to South Africa and perhaps is even setting it up here for Sasol to come and take over or for him/them to offer to Sasol at a later, more progressed stage.

The Chairman and Merrill have massive stakes in the company so something strong is developing and I can only speculate how they have links to so many Sasol ex-employees.
