Fully agree with the clip,70% of the current Aussie work force does not want to educate themselves for the next job and what I mean by this is they happy to stay in their current job even if it is a low skill job, no drive to do any better, but then again they can't as this band (70%) left school at early and then dropped out of a apprenticeship, which then causes a shortage in the top band, hence having to bring in skilled workers, not hard to see.

As you all can see this band is illiterate, hence the government trying to push education to the front, a bit late and it will take 2 generations

SO until then the 457 is critical to the long term economic growth of this country, this will then ensure house prices remain stable and the unskilled or the 70% band remains employed and can service their debt / mortgage.

Now to bring in workers to complete a resource project is because the average person does not want to do that kind of work and would rather bludge or as you say flip houses and make a 100K...................great forward and lateral thinking.
