I’m also confused by how much FCC was giving BIG. It seems to me like they were paying a % of the line of credit, not a % of the actual video. So if the Customer signed up for a $4k shoot then BIG still got $4k off the bat (35% of $12k) instead of $1.3k (35% of $4k). But the 41% still went into an account that counted as cash on BIG’s books even though they would never see that money since the customer would only ever spend it directly with FCC?
What if the Customer agreed to look at a $1k video? Did BIG still get advanced $4k?
Dunno. I reckon that accounting classes in every Aussie uni will be using this case study in a couple years time.
