"According to a statement, both companies have now reached a settlement over the dispute and an order to dismiss the case has been issued. As of December 22, 2011, Optellios assigned the 736 patent to FFT and the company is now its sole owner."
A reasonable person would think that once Optellios assigned the patents to FFT, it would be onward and upwards for them - right? After all, FFT have strengthened their patent position - they are the Aussie battler that deserve all of Optellios customers now...
So if FFT tech is so spectacular - why did Senstar buy Optellios and not FFT?
“The merger with Optellios adds key advanced fiber optic sensing technology to our offering and strengthens our position in the market. I would like to welcome the talented Optellios staff to our company.”
I'll wait for the bidder and target statements before I make up my mind - but at this time - even if you offered me 10cent for my MSP shares - I'd still be voting "no".
