    He is always obviously careful with what he says but the singular of partner struck me as particularly pointed. Maybe I am writing too much into the context.

    I doubt very much if the comment relates to financing as I know they refused help within days of getting into trouble probably about 5 6 weeks ago. that issue could have been settled over night! And was refused
