Good to see you are still flying the flag for the nuclear industry. You and Shill-enberger.

Pity your argument is full of holes.

I notice you've slipped in a little price suggestion and hope that nobody notices. $10bil per plant ?

Where did you make up those pretend figures from ? From the Nuclear Industry maybe ?

Funny how you didn't mention how long they will take to build, where they will be located, the extra infrastructure cost, the issue with the waste etc.
A few small details you might like to address.

And then there's all the other fake news shock jock claims you have.

Replace Australia's baseload ? Sure. Over about 30 years we might replace it. Gives us an awful long time to develop and build out storage and renewables. All technologies that are cheaper than fossil already. Technologies that can be added to the grid day by day. Not decade by decade.
We might even develop a hydrogen industry for domestic and export use by then. Way quicker than we can build four nuclear white elephants.

As to being a first mover. Who should we wait for ? How long will that take ? Why would anyone else want to shoulder the burden ?

Instead, the whole globe is embracing renewables. Because of that, they are being developed many times faster and getting cheaper by the day.
Instead of being a first mover on renewables that can be built now, we'll wait decades for outdated, over priced and impractical nuclear to be built while we run out of power in the meantime ?

Yeah, that's an awesome strategy. rolleyes.png

Good old blowhard. Keeps bringing up the same false arguments. Arguments that are bluster backed by zero facts. Never provides any data at all.

I can't wait for the excuse on the no facts $10bill power plant.
