it's not easy to discuss or analyse weather and climate with noisy deniers of AGW and climate change when they freely and willingly choose to take a position based on ignorance. Where do you go after that .back to the measured facts of course to analyse.

some 'thinkers' in recent weeks decided to promote a lunacy abut global cooling. They could have had facts but instead chose merely to fart in public.

they parade their position as though it had some inherent value but it's worth nothing more than a brown stain in an army latrine.

you might even think they had common decency enough to check facts. No need to do that if the MO is lie first, never check second.

treating all readers everywhere with the same dishonesty and disrespect they have for each other.

Here follows some facts about hot weather in many parts of the world Jan-March.

here is how usatoday.com reported things back in march 14.

"The months of December, January and February – which meteorologists define as winter here in the Northern Hemisphere – were the second-warmest on record, federal scientists announced Friday.

"Only the El Niño-fueled winter of 2015-16 was warmer, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said. El Niño, a natural warming of sea water in the tropical Pacific Ocean, acts to boost global temperatures.

"Global temperature records for the Earth go back to 1880.

"Some of the most extreme warmth was in Russia, which smashed its record for warmest winter. Temperatures there were as much as a whopping 12 degrees above average, according to the country's weather service. "
