Why do you keep asking me about KI ? I don't work for them.

Why don't you get in touch with Snowy Hydro and ask them ? They actually have a guy that manages the project and I've found him pretty helpful in the past.

Once again, you're trying to spin the story to impress the geriatrics that listen to 2GB.

No one is going to make anywhere 100% renewable. Particularly in the near future. That's just a distraction you fossil trolls like to use to wind up the nursing home with.
The really great thing is we don't have to. As Coober Pedy proves, we can utilise the existing depreciated old generators as backup while storage matures. In the meantime we can still use renewables to significantly reduce emissions and pollution.

That's how a modern intelligent society does things.

Coober Pedy is the perfect example. Based on what was learned at KI, they were able to build a system that is sized appropriately for the load. Without energy storage at all they are saving 2.1 million litres of diesel a year.

That's a lot of money not to mention the reduced maintenance costs, pollution etc.

How are you going with the first mover defence btw ? You've gone all quiet on that one. Is that information locked up with the cost of nuclear in Australia ? Seems as you can't produce any facts at all. Just hot air.

Look at all that lovely renewable energy powering the Island. How good is that ?
