I am not really interested in your personal views on the topic and don't expect others to be interested in mine. The only way to test what the majority thinks is to let them vote on the issue. It seems that neither side of the issue has the courage to say: we will accept what the majority wants, irrespective of whether the result is or isn't what we want.
