I suppose the best announcement they could make is that they are mothballing the Murchison project until gold prices are higher. There is no point in mining there for no or very little profit.

They should just focus on the Mt Monger mines for the time being and optimise the operations.

However, my view is that the current panic selling is due to large sellers getting out because they need the funds to pay for redemptions by investors. The share price will recover somewhat once they are out. After all if SBM with its problems can recover off its recent low then SLR will also so long as the POG holds up.
