Are you sure that you aren't the sad one, living your life through the Fairfax press?If you got out and about more often you might have some real perspectives on how human nature really works, then if you fleshed that out with some reading on history, politics, demographics etc you might start to understand how the world works.

Well if you don't know the actual number of those supporting IS then why are you so sure it will be hair on mole on an elephant sized? It could be alot or maybe not so much. I just read today that a Qatari female pilot has been disowned by her family for attacking IS. Maybe there are lots more like her parents... The point being most people are tribal in some sense and will always support their own regardless. As for 1.6 bil muslims,how many of them will support a non muslim against a muslim....more than a hair on a mole on an elephant size??????
