The market has for some time appeared to have clearly indicated with its lack of support that it sees the gem model of acquisition at relatively low price earnings multiples and increasing debt as a sole means to growth as ultimately unsustainable. The business does not appear to have demonstrated that it can add value to existing businesses with good operational ideas and management. So when acquisitions appear to stall as now this raises red flags because their only strategy for growth has been threatened. I for one will be keeping right away after selling my holding some weeks back.
