The difference between the seismic boat’s and water born wind factory’s that I can see is that the boats move on, while the turbines are anchored for 10-20 years in the same position.
The other thing about the turbines that may possibly have a negative impact on the whales and dolphins is that they produce a magnetic disturbance over a wide area that “could” affect these creatures (especially if these factories are placed on historical migration routes or breeding/calving grounds).
