You are totally correct, the low offer price allows the offer to be in the market place without causing any great difficulty to anyone. also pick up a few mums and dads shares.

But the important aspect fro my mind is that the offer is subject to a scheme of arrangement, which requires a 75% of voters to vote for.

Now making the assumption that the 89 Mil of shares that made up the 2016 AGM resolutions.

and we have some 450 mil available votes, now it would be impossible for all 450 mil to be used in voting.

Perhaps lets say 300 mil voted. that would require 225 mil to vote in favor of a 17.5 per share offer

Now I think I can safely say that will not happen.

So we can safely consider that a higher offer will transpire over the next 3 months.

Then it may well be game on.
