I sympathise with your comments but unfortunately this goes on with every stock where shares are being placed.

Companies sought out brokers who they can use to place stock.

Sometimes it can be a lengthy process before you find the right broker who is willing to do it at the price you want.

If companies went into a trading halt every time they were going through this process hundreds of companies each year would not be trading for weeks on end.

That means lost revenue to ASX and people who are holding would be complaining because their funds would be locked up until a suitable deal could be reached.

There is no easy answer.
