I think it is just a risk/reward scenario playing out at the moment. If Hurricane is a success then the SP will fly. If it is not, then MOS still have significant assets and COE with their substantial holding at around 16c.
We will know more soon enough. A successful Hurricane will increase the value of other wells in the WA permit substantially where there is possible 220million BO in place. Hurricane has 40-50 million.
Then there is Kimu in PNG, and the increasing value of MOS QLD gas production.
Limited downside and a whole lot of upside.
