re: jorc uranium code Thats right tas,
There is No JORC code that is specific to Uranium.
However Geosciences Australia do suggest numbers that should be used.
These are currently USD$40/Kg for an economic resource and USD$130/kg for a Subeconomic Resource
MTN can actually use any numbers they want and still say that it is JORC Compliant. If the numbers are too fanciful Dr Bogacz Could lose his right to make JORC Statements. Reading the JORC Statement Dr Bogacz will not be losing his accreditation any time soon.
However I would say MTN are certainly stretching the numbers to the limit to make the JORC report look as impressive as possible to the uneducated.
It hasn't fooled the educated and I would suggest this is the major reason the share price is being held back.
ASIC and Pierpont can have seen throught the smoke screen along with many brokers and professional investors.
On the Plus side DR John and Vic are familiar with making money. I am sure they will be getting annoyed with the slow decline in the share price.
Announcements are sure to come to boost the share price again.
Current Sentiment IMO
Extremely High Risk Share. Do not hold.(too risky for me)
Short Term Buy, at current prices.
Be prepared to dump after next JORC announcement.
Long Term sell unless MTN can turn the hype in to something real. Will need to do a JV or obtain a decent lease
