The mass recovery varies wildly, but can range from 10% to 5%. It's the gold recovery of the flotation circuit that is important. That varies wildly as well, from 85% to 96%.
The gold is in solid solution, basically dissolved in arsenopyrite and pyrite, so that the mineral needs to be destroyed by oxidation in order to attain access to the gold.
