Dividends are usually a result of surplus cash flow from normal operations. If assets are sold SH might get a return of capitol. Ultimately we just check the Company performance through their reports and if further assets are not being acquired and cash is being received as income then motions can be made at the AGM as to why no dividends are being paid.
