Why are people acting like any of this is news?
The 20c total divident for 2018 was communicated in the half year results LAST year August already as quoted by myself and @garrye in this very thread?
You have to ask yourself some questions if you invest in a company without reading the information they disclose. ( note to self too )
More interesting is the full year results underlying NPAT is $92.9m ... a little down from last year.
From what I see there are 448,536, 926 shares issued.
Not sure what calculations they use to get to 21.8c eps on underlying NPAT.
But it is down on 24.68c eps underlying NPAT of 2016, that's 11,67% down?
As for eps on underlying NPAT, should that be?
92,900,000/ 448,536, 926 = 20.7c
If someone can show me what I've got wrong there... please.
For 2019 GEM has given guidance that it will pay 70%-80% of underlying NPAT in dividends.
If profit according to their eps calculation remain roughly the same we are looking at
15.2c - 17.44c for the 2019 period.
