This is not about the rights or wrongs of short selling. That is a legitimate practice.
It is about the inequitable manipulation of a stock to accumulate at an unrealistically low price.
It is illegal, but difficult to prove/report as such.
To say it does not matter if you are a LT holder is to overlook those that may need/want/plan to sell at the real market value today or in the short term, as is their right. They are the ones that are being robbed, and yes that is what it is, robbery.
I wish that I had the the time, patience and plain know how to report it to ASIC, but the process seems to me to be prohibitively difficult for a an individual investor.
It sucks. Anyone want to take it on? You'll get a big thumbs up from me.
GLTA, I sincerely hope that we all eventually get our much anticipated rewards.
