After weeks of filling my PO Box with Pine Forests full of yellow and green and some other coloured forms, more reading material than in a Weekend Australian from all parties, today I received the suprise of my life.
A bit after 4pm (1 hour) after the Melbourne Cup I received a phone call from LINK services. All very polite. They just wanted to know if I was aware of the vote, what my intentions might be, The deadlines to get votes in and if they could assist.
Where they kidding with their timing !
Half an hour after the Melbourne Cup, half of Australia would blow over .05, nine out of ten of Australia have lost their Shirt (that's in line with my EGO investment), 1 in ten maybe are celebrating their win and Very few are working.
The NATION had already STOPPED.
Glad I don't work for LINK.
As much as its the greatest thing I've got out of EGO, a phone call wanting my vote, The Joke is still on me.
The amount they would have paid the consultants to call me is unjustifiable for my minimal holding.
They must REALLY, REALLY, REALLY need votes.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry because this is a serious matter.
