there are some SI's that just want a quick buck and sell out when they can. I prefer to hold, I dont have time to keep an eye on the screen and make pocket money on a daily basis. Though I do some short term trading with some very predicatble stocks (RRS)

Furthemore, most of my SI investments have turned out to be multibaggers over a long period and I prefer to pay 25% CGT on a large return than 50% on a small return.

As for prosepctuses, I bet most are just thrown in the waste bin without being read cover to cover.
