I'd suggest that there are two lines that have been crossed which Gillard referred to on the weekend .. but couldn't state due to the fact they hadn't even happened at the time
1/ Raid on the HSU
2/ AFP investigation into Slipper
...and the fact that Shorten is away while Rome is burning is either good luck .. or good management... take your pick.
