hey, Dino, glad you had a good time. The AFR mentioned the 85 cents figure AFTER the stock was in a trading halt, so no damage done. I, for one, would have dumped a heap of stock if I had known, so would many, so I'd say it didn't leak badly at all! In fact, the run up in SP before the trading halt was the opposite of what normally happens! Still convinced long term holders have been treated very shabbily..... if it was a renounceable rights issue (the only fair way) then if you can't afford to exercise your rights you can sell them on market. Plenty of other companies have shown respect for their existing holders by opting for this type of issue.....
