I seriously had high expectations for Mike Bell and thought company comms would improve markedly under his leadership. But, not to be.
I agree with you that trust is very important and with FGR’s failure to update us and meet commitments, trust has been eroded comprehensively.
MB’s recent promotion to MD certainly was not on the basis of his communication skills. WG has seen something special in MB. WOW! Doesn’t that say a lot. That must give us SHs great confidence.
With all the hype and excitement around the potential Gerdau JV, it is implausible to think there has not been some form of update on its status, since WG opened his mouth again and creating expectation, many weeks back now.
Maybe the Gerdau JV announcement has been delayed due to the Lawyers and legal formalities. I could believe that. But, if so, tell us. It is not that hard.
Come on FGR management, give your SHs some form of update. Your lack of news around Gerdau is curtailing any confidence remaining amongst your SHs.
