There really are some garbage comments on here, just like the company announcements, full of huff and puff but zero content or factual information to back them up. Charles is a money maker and been with RE for a while. What RE company was he involved with? What work were they doing? What was the company's performance like? What money was made by this entity? How about backing up your big statements with some facts people.
So looking at some actual facts, yes our chair has made a heap of money from HXG that forsur having bagged over $600K in value over the past 2 years, and what has been delivered other than a shocking shareprice performance.
So they have basically burnt through $5M that they raised at 20cents, whilst minralresources was apparently paying for everything, then whilst on a jaunt to a conference in March ran into a bloke who was into RE. Now he has a foot in both camps and has someone else to stump up the capital, taking home two pay cheques and maintains control by only dishing out 49% to HXG...well played sir.
So HXG spent years and years talking up the graphite space and then when there are a few jitters in the graphite market (caused mainly by the forecast demand taking longer to eventuate, but also because of SYR's shocking performance by not producing what they said they would, who was that again that did all their flowsheet and process design again? I recall similar comments to bullants above at the time, MC is a guru, we are so lucky to have such a well qualified professional on the team and all the rest of it, well what did he deliver for HXG? He probably bagged half a million before they showed him the door.
Anyone who isn't taking a long term view on the whole EV, green energy revolution is a complete fool. So I do find it very odd that in the quarterly that they have parked macintosh due to market conditions but they are pushing ahead with the Ceylon? I am getting really confused by the company, are they in or are they parking graphite? Would like to know what is really going on here.
As for this recent rise in the shareprice, IT IS A TEXTBOOK PRE CAPITAL RAISE PUMP.
Raise will be done at whatever level they can pump it to over the next few weeks. They need to get our SH approval at the AGM to get a raise done so will be post 22nd nov. Probably a good buy at these levels with this pumping going on. I do agree with one of bullants comments that there will be an announcement to pump it hard, I just hope it isn't full of pictures of US army dudes in uniforms hugging their kids but something with some actual content so we know what the heck is going on.

Obviously I’m happy that the price seems to have put a bottom in for now but I still feel that we are out of the loop with what’s going on at HXG. I also wonder if management knows what’s going on. The company seems to lean this way and then the other. That’s why it’s not surprising to see the SP at these levels.

Concerns:
-I am concerned about the new and uncharted direction for the company with RE. HXG has no track record in this space and not much of a track record elsewhere either.
-We have no idea what is actually happening at McIntosh?

I want to see the company do well but as a long term shareholder I have to ask myself, what have they delivered?
