You can get an understanding why ABX reduced involvement by going to the ABX website and reading the 03 Annual Report in reference to Gidgee-they were hurt by disappointing results from another pit along strike.
The Wilsons deposit is getting deep and now into refractory ore.
All in all, they could not readily see much in front of them without a reasonable amount of exploration work underground.-perfect time for them to get out and let someone take the risk. But if they thought it was a complete dog they would not have taken shares as part of the consideration!
Obviously more drilling is required on "Tasmania"-but it is certainly heading in the right direction!
