Fat prophets is calling $1500 gold this year and $2000 next year. they have a very , very good track record when it comes to the major trends.
Why? because the world is in the grip of inflation at the same time that americas answer is to print itself out of a recession. The rest of the world holds a trillion in US reserves and they have to put it somewhere to retain its value. Gold isnt the only commodity/currency that will benefit from this, but its a significant one.
