I wondered why that news came when it did, and I think you're right - they want to clear the decks and have no distractions when the good news drops, so people can focus on how good the news is. It all makes sense now! Between this and my SLM shares which is looking for copper, I might be hated by greenies, but the greenbacks will come flowing into my bank account and those are the green I really care about.
