Options are more about leverage. If you can get 5 options at 4c for the price of 3 heads at 6.7c and the heads go to 10c (49% gain) you can be sure the options are worth minimum 6.5c (62% gain)
options equals more gains for same $ investment.
always remember options are much much riskier.
