I was on the Maersk Valliant in late 79's / 80 around the Monte Bellow Islands WA we drilled the first well on the Harriete oil field and about 8 others from memory, only one was a duster besides that one all our test flares off shore! were same same with the pic from the NWE site. fwiw - ditto when i worked on the Sedco 600 further up North offshore when we tested that huge discovery.
Like im not expecting large numbers from this shale test from small frac's but gee like to see the flare if / when they open up all the zones together,lol. Methinks this well already is a no brainer and will be a nice revenue earner besides what is gunna be calculated from this test well : )
