    Kiwi, just in reply to your question above and using the "ranges" you referred to, can you see why I'm not a great fan of them. I'm a short term trader so waiting years for a range to eventuate isn't my cup of tea. The other problem is go back far enough on any chart and you'll find ranges that fit any analysis. This isn't how I chart so I'm not covering this as I posted just answering your question with a chart based on the question.
